Let’s
go Sailing! Do you want to get out on the water without the hassle and cost of
boat ownership? If you do, then California Yacht Club’s Keelboat Program is for
you. We have a fleet of Martin 242 class sailboats for use by our members for
recreational sailing, sailing instruction, fleet racing and match racing.
For only $50 a month ($600 annually), your membership
will grant you access for 15 day-sails during the year. The boats will be
launched and recovered by CYC dock staff giving you hassle free sailing at a
fraction of the cost of boat ownership!
Before your first sail you will be required to
take a sailing skills test sail to ensure your enjoyment and safety.
As a Keelboat Fleet member, you will also be
able to rent the boats for Martin 242 one design regattas and the Wednesday
night Sunset Series. A single race day rental is $150 with subsequent days costing
only $100. You can use the boats for the Sunset Series with no additional cost!
